Version 0.2.8
Escape from General Critter » Devlog
Been a couple of weeks since I've uploaded a new version. Things have been... hectic, so haven't really managed to do as much in that time.
- Finally added a title screen. Still need a menu that lets the player select whether or not they want to do the tutorials, but that's next on the agenda.
- A lot of behind-the-scenes refactoring. If I did it right, you won't notice anything :-D
- Added a new level (not a tutorial one, either).
- Fine-tuned the glow/bloom effect to make it more subtle. Still only noticeable on the Windows version..
I've got some more ideas, but I really want to take some time to flesh out the overall plan for what I want this game to be. I'll also be taking part in Ludum Dare 55, in a little over three weeks' time, so there'll be a 72-96 hour period where I won't be doing anything for Escape, but I'm enjoying this little project so I'll keep tinkering with it for now.
